Hello,
I have offered to make a purchase on a Fragrance board. The seller sent me an invoice for the agreed-upon amount, but in the "Terms and conditions" field, I see that he's added a note that says "PayPal gift option."
What does this mean for me, in terms of buyer protection?
Cheers,

If the seller has sent you an invoice, you should be safe. PayPal's Policies always override what ever policies the seller or merchant may have in place. For example a seller or merchant may state they have a 30 return policy however, PayPal allows you 45 days.
Personally it appears the seller may think he or she has a new angle on scamming you. Why else would they insert a statement like that. I would find another seller or merchant to deal with. Chances are you would be protected but, why take the risk in the first place.
