I sold somoene some car parts. He asked me to send it to his business address and didn't ask for insurance.
The items was a used clutch and flywheel.
I tracked the packaged and it was recieved at his locked parcel box. The next day he messaged me saying he recieved the package but it only weighs 3 pounds, but my shipping reciept shows 24lbs. He says he opened it and it is filled with a bunch of small christmas wrapped items.
I went to the post office and the Post Master said normal protocol is to mark a package if it were delayed or damaged. They have no mark in the system showing this.
So clearly he wants a refund.
But this seems fishy to me.
This means
Two or more packages split open on route to his address
USPS employee broke protocol and took the items and put them back in the wrong packages. Then didn't mark down damage and then re sealed the box.
The package didn't have insurance.
It wasn't sent to the address listed on paypal because he asked me to send to his business. (I have this in writing)
