Hello Ivanl1,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that your client filed a case for your transaction. When a payment is disputed, the funds will immediately go on hold. This is the standard procedure as outlined in our user agreement. I would suggest providing information which shows the client accessed the website, such as IP address logs and evidence of your moderation. All information will be reviewed and cases take about 30 days to resolve on average.

You can review the following link for more information on this process: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/brc/disputes-claims-chargebacks-and-bank-reversals.

Hello PayPal_Rich and thank you for your reply.

Please explain me this if you can. I just made an appeal against the dispute decision. How is it fair that after all work I delivered and all proofs I can think of that I sent PayPal can close the dispute in the favor of a seller? One of the proofs I sent is a Skype conversation where buyer clearly admits and states that he made some bad decisions and investments, apologizes to me, tells me how bad his financial situation is and because of that wants his refund. I am not a UNICEF or a Red Cross. Can you tell me how is this a valid reason for a decision in buyer's favor, for a refund? It is like you buy something without any warranty, and some time in the future you find yourself in a bad financial situation, you do not need whatever it is you bought and you see it was a bad investment. Just like that you go to seller and demand a refund. As far as I know things nowhere in the world work that way. Extremely dissapointed and frustrated.

Hi IvanI1,

I definitely understand your frustration regarding the decision on the dispute. We do take all information into account when making a decision on a case. I would advise ensuring all the details were attached to the case for review when you filed the appeal. We'll review the appeal and reach out to you via email once we have an update.

Thank you Ashley. My appeal was unsuccesful, so I decided to call support. Nice guy told me to provide additional evidence and I did exactly that. He said he will apeal on the decision.
