RETURNING ISSUES

Hi there,

 

I bought an item from Ebay. The seller has send me a counterfeit and I have to return it now in regard to be refund.

Paypal has send me an email saying I was eligible for a refund once I will return the item(s) associated with this transaction.

My problem is that the person associated with the transaction does not have the same name and address than the seller. What should I do?

Hello @ARMEN777! How are you doing today?

 

In regards of return shipping, eBay should have sent you a return shipping label. Did you create a case as "no authentic" (it would be considered as "not as described")? If not, then I would recommend escalating the case after 3 business days. You can do that by:

  1. Logging into your eBay account at eBay.com.
  2. Go to the bottom of the home page and click on "Resolution Center."
  3. Find your case at the bottom of the page.
  4. From the "Take action" drop-down menu, select "Have Customer Support review this case.
  5. eBay will respond with their decision within 48 hours.

Remember, if you don't contact eBay within 30 days of opening the case, they'll assume the issue has been resolved and will close the case with no additional action.

Note: You can escalate a case only if it was opened within 30 days after the estimated or confirmed delivery date but after 3 business days.

 

 

You could always use PayPal's ShipNow as an alternative. All you have to do is follow the steps below:


1. You will need to login to PayPal at PayPal.com/login.
2. You can now go to PayPal.com/ShipNow.
3. The next step is to fill out the recipient's information.
4. When you're done, click on "Ship To This Adress" at the bottom of the page.
5. On the next page, you will need to select carrier name, service type, package type, and, if you're not shipping the same day, the mailing date. You can also choose to add Signature Confirmation, Insurance, and whether or not you would like to display the postage cost on the label. If you would like to ship from a different area, you can select "Other" under "Origination ZIP code" and enter the zip code that the package will be shipped from.
6. When you're done click on "Calculate Shipping Cost" and review the costs that will be displayed under "Shipping cost."
7. If you have made any corrections and/or you believe the shipping is correct, click on "Confirm and Pay."
