I sold an online account to a person on August and they paid me through friends and family on my old account which i deactivated. I get a letter from the mail saying Demand for Payment from Paypal and I have to pay the amount back to a NCO office where I live. I checked my old email and Paypal said they reversed a credit from my paypal account but i deactivated it before the email they sent so i didn't know that the buyer won the dispute.
The account was $304 but the mail said the balance past due is $324.08. How do i know that it is legit and not a scam since a lot of people are saying that they are a fraud. Is the email from Paypal enough to show that it is legit and i have to pay it?
