My password was stolen and somebody ordered an item. How can I cancel the order?

Hello,

Somebody ordered an item at ebay with my Paypal payment.
How can I cancel the order and stop the payment?
Please tell me how to take an action for this.
I contacted with the seller a day ago but no response..
(I reset my password of ebay and deleted my credit card link on paypal already)
According to the information of my creadit card compnay, the approval number is "578269" and the shop name is "PAYPAL *PINSABIGAIL".
and total amount is $ 369.00

Please kindly let me know how to proceed furhter.

File an unauthorised dispute in your paypal account.

look up the paypal transaction and file unauthorised transaction.

report this guy to Ebay,seller should do the same .

If paypal DOES not side with you,then file with your cc issuer,the Paypal case will close immediately and now it becomes a chargeback from your cc issuer.

Sounds as if they did not have your paypal password so could not complete ebay checkout by signing in to your paypal account.

So they paid directly with your card details BUT the seller probably processed that payment via their Paypal 'card reader'.

If that was the case then it would not show on your paypal account as you would have paid as a guest buyer.

So you have 2 options, firstly you can phone customer services (paypal) and see if they will open a claim for you OR you can contact your card issuer and ask them to do a chargeback for you (as it was fraudulent they should do this + send you another card).
