Items Stolen or Lost

Hi community, I know this is a long shot but I'm desperate for a solution. I purchased a cell phone online 28 days ago using PayPal to purchase it. Today it was stolen 😞 I am going to the police station to file a report and have already submitted the IMEI as stolen on the phone. Does PayPal offer any type of insurance or a way to recoup when something like this happens? I figured it was worth a shot for a broke student! Thanks

some credit cards like AMEX does offer protection if item is stolen.

but not Paypal.

also homeowner policy if you have one
