If I Resolve a Dispute. Can I get a refund after?

The title says it all. I have a dispute and I am getting a refund from the seller but it says the payment is on a temporary hold on their end and I think its because of the open dispute.

if you have open a case,then it has to be closed,else the money is in limbo.
