Hello, so I was browsing through Grailed, and I found a shirt that I've always wanted for a reasonable price. I sent the seller an offer, which he accepted to. When I was filling out my shipping info, he asked if I could pay directly through paypal instead of Grailed since he didn't link his paypal into his Grailed account. I agreed and sent him $158.00 USD through goods and services. When I logged back onto Grailed a few minutes later, I noticed that he had blocked me. I have filed and sent a dispute to paypal, since it is pretty obvious this guy tried to scam me. Here's the issue, though. I reported this scam as "unauthorized activity" instead of "not receiving the item I purchased." I don't know why I picked that one instead, but I guess I was nervous since this was my first time getting scammed and I didn't want my money to go away that freely to a scammer. The dispute was obviously closed since there was never any sort of "unauthorized activity" on my account. Paypal, may I PLEASE file for another dispute against this user?! I promise I am not lying and I got scammed! I'm not that rich and $158 means a lot to me. We didn't message a whole lot, but I have evidence of our messages if needed. Through email, the scammer even admitted to scamming me. Although he blamed it on his "friend" for using his phone, he admitted that his "friend" tried to scam me and he was apologizing to me. I just want my money back! Help! What can you do?!!
