I have received an email from a person with very broken English that wants to make payment per Mastercard/PayPal. How do I verify that he is on the up and up. If he makes payment by Mastercard, can it be reversed by him?
Yes. It can be retracted. I am in a similar situation. Don't sell privately. Sell only through ebay or any other website. This way you get seller protection.
