Last night or early today 2 a.m. I won $5,000 Real Cash in Chumba. I did cashout to Paypal, but I got no notifications from PayPal or Chumba in my e-mail. Is that normal or it's Sunday be patient. Is Chumba a total scam, I have deposited REAL funds $10, $10 then $30 and I won.  I did not get REAL excited or tell anyone in case its a scam.  Also I wish I had screenshot the win but did not.  And my REAL CASH funds still says over $5,000 despite I did cash out, does that mean TRY cash out again. Very confused please help ASAP I coudl REALLY USE this big win like yesterday.

When you play, you purchase 'gold coin packages'.  When I first disputed charges, I had written to the casino because they had locked my account.  I asked why on support chat and they said it was because of the disputes and I had to cancel my disputes to be able to gain access again.  Well I had millions of gold coins which I purchased but now can't get.  I fought and fought trying to get my money back.  I know it was fraud, they took thousands of dollars from me without my permission but no matter what, they always sided with the casino.  So if you think about it, you purchase the gold coins with the CHANCE to win prizes.  Now since my account was locked out I had no access to those purchased coins so therefore, what I bought, I can't get, they took them away by disabling my account.  So this qualified at "Item Not Received".  I sent proof to PayPal showing them my account was disabled, proof that I had gold coins still on the account, and proof they told me to cancel my disputes to get access again (blackmail).  Only then did I finally get PayPal to do something.

Again this company is fraud, double/tripled charged me without my knowledge, shows winnings that I don't recognize and are not in my bank account, and I'm now faced with a 1099-k because of their activity.  That's an totally different topic but hope this helps anybody out there that has faced the evil side of this company.

I have tried all of this and still am trying this.  I have stated they are a fraudulent website clearly stating claims in US (which they are not because my charge cards got hit with foreign fees), showed that they deactivated my account as soon as a dispute was charged, showed them the copy of the email telling me to stop any disputes to reactivate and the one also telling me to use my PayPal balance to avoid any future foreign fees--showed them the proof of my huge  balance of Gold Coins with has been deactivated, plus showed them all the bogus emails from Chumba stating "refund being processed"  taking coins out of my account for each one but NOT issuing any refund, and all I keep getting is SORRY--NOTHING CAN DO NOT PROTECTED UNDER PAYPALS BUYER PROTECTION.  I  find this pathetic as I said exactly the same thing to PayPal--this became a case of not received once Chumba deactivated my account with all the money on account and all the bogus emails taking money off my account with each one.  I can't get any help from no one at PayPal!!

Wow I'm sorry to see this.  I know your pain trust me.  They show that I collected $193,000 from Chumba which is bs.  I first filed as fraud and PayPal put a stop to that right away.  I then bypassed PayPal and went directly to my credit card companies and filed fraud.  That's been going on now since Nov '17. At this point, I've won most of my claims with my credit card companies. What I won when it came to PayPal was the charges that were placed on my PayPal charge card.  that's where I had to claim "item not received" because they locked my account down.

This all just sickens me to death that they allow this company to do this to their own customers.

You did exactly what I did but if you're fighting with PayPal over your bank or other credit card company (non-PayPal), I would call them and explain everything.  Just be honest with them and they will go to bat for you.  The credit card company will send you a form called 'chargeback response' which is just a form saying what PayPal or Chumba is saying.  Just respond to each of those in a timely manner with proof and you should be good.

I wish you the best of luck on this and again, I feel your pain 100%

I started with the PayPal and my bank after seeing the pathetic lack of help, I will be going direct to the charge card for the remaining.  I had a feeling this would happen just by all the comments about PayPal and their lack of help on this merchant!  You would think they would want to eliminate this vendor to simplify their own lives, so it makes one wonder.  I am shocked Chumba is even allow to have PayPals LOGO right on the Casino's website and do nothing to help it patrons.  Unfortunately because the Bank is processed as and ACH--nothing can be done per the manager at the bank.  This is so sad!Chumba.png

The bank manager said nothing can be done... wow!!  My girlfriend spent $60 from her bank account (atm card) and Chumba took $1,400 while she was sleeping.  She contacted the bank right away and they ruled in her favor and she got all her money back.  That's when I knew 100% something was wrong and started investigating myself and found out that Chumba was saying I had two accounts but wouldn't give the account information to me or the credit card company.  They just simply said one account had 1400 transactions and the other had 850 transactions.

This is such a worrisome issue because we have to worry about down the road with this merchant too!!  I was very disappointed in the bank as that is the only one I thought would of been the easiest.

Well cases thru PayPal credit that I had appeals on are closed and denied too.  No coverage protection even though my account is deactivated and no refunds issued for all the "gold coins".  I called customer service and was told I should of researched before--not after.  No protection.  I said so doesn't matter what seller provides--I have no recourse--dispute customer service rep said--basically.  No coverage protection means nothing that can or will do!!  Unreal.  I can only hope that the charges I am currently disputing directly thru my charge cards will have a better outcome.  On my Discover card I reported not as received--it was kicked back to PayPal as a C/B and apparently the seller provided I received  to PayPal which in return provided in support of Chumba so I am going thru the same thing of stating I did originally receive some but everything is now back in possession of the casino because they deactivated my account upon first dispute when I discovered they were fraudulently misleading people into thinking they were a US based operation and showed them a copy of the blackmail email to drop any of my charges to reactivate my account.  Such a irritating situation.  I didn't think Not Protected meant in both ways.

That's just crazy.  Are all the charges yours meaning the money you put in the account?  My issue was double/triple charging on my account and I didn't even catch it.  They made it look as if I were playing.  I just hired an attorney, one of the top three in the country for fraud like this and I'm paying a lot for the investigation!  But going after them all to see where this fraud took place because it really **bleep** me over.  If they can determine who and where the fraud took place, stand back, I'm going hog wild.  My first meeting is next week, can't wait.

I am not sure because there are charges while my husband and I were on vacation but they say they came from me.  I did make charges for sure but started to dispute because I was getting hit with all these foreign fees and I became aware this was not a US operation because of all these foreign fees.  Then once I started to really pay attention I have things posted while on vacation so I have no clue what are real and what isn't.  I know--SAD!!  My reason for the out of US is because that would immediately mean no regulations in place and they outright fraudulently state IN US.Chumba 2.png

I never noticed foreign fees on my statements, that's strange.  Well I bet you those charges are NOT yours. They came back and said that I had two accounts which isn't allowed by them (I have a support ticket telling me such along with tell me I only had one account).  It's a nightmare for sure.  And yes, because they are out of the US (which I thought they were based in CA) it's going to be hard that's why my credit card companies are hitting PayPal, it's there merchant.
