A payment has been taken from a visa card that has never been linked to pay pal

Someone in the UK used my credit card to pay for some shoes.  That card had been used to make individual payments but never linked to the pay pal account.  The payment is pending but I can't get onto pay pal to stop it

I'm so sorry to hear about the unauthorized use of your card! Please contact PayPal by phone so the number can be given to a representative to look into. Once that's done, the card should also be reported to the credit card company as stolen so a new card number can be issued.

To reach PayPal customer support by phone, click Help & Contact, then Contact customer service, then Call us, and then either log in or click to call as a guest.
