after I asked them to investigate what I thought was an odd double paypal debit of the same amount on the same day from my bank account. I realise now after my bank refunded me and paypal also opened a dispute that I was mistaken and the fact that two identical amounts were debited at the same time was a complete coincidence but both were as it turns out legitimate transactions.
Is there a means of contacting Paypal during a dispute so I can explain what happened? The seller concerned certainly doesn't realise why I would have effectively had his payment revoked although I have tried to explain through email.
Regards

Welcome to the forums!
You certainly can give us a call and take care of the issue. Depending on where the process is at, it might be as simple as you add the money back to your PayPal account or worse case, send your seller another payment. But it's definitely something we can get taken care of. 🙂
