I have a dilemma...my due date is today 10/12/17...I deposited a check into my personal bank account and they have placed a hold on me being able to use it until 10/18/17. This was to allow me to pay my entire amount due to avoid any interest charges. Is there anything I can do to change the current due date or request a one time allowment? I have never been late and have always paid my charges off on time. I don't want to not make a payment today,but deposited the check into my personal back for more than the full amount due to avoid interest. If I pay the minimum payment and then the remainder of the full amount that was due 10/12/17 on 10/18/17 will that avoid interest or at least make that interest very minimal???
