changing email for payment notices

I have changed my email information on the actual PayPal settings page but continue to receive payment due and payment made notifications/requests from Synchrony Bank at my old email address ... I'm assuming there is a need to get the change to the Synchrony Bank page but see no way to accomplish that. Help?
