Waiting period and..

I am new to PayPal Credit.  Is there a waiting period to use it for payments to people?  Also, do you have to connect a bank account to use this feature of PayPal Credit? I wanted to see if it would work so I tried it a couple of times with different denominations but the option to use PayPal Credit did not appear.  All I got was a prompt to add a card number.  Part of the reason I applied for this is because I would have the ability to send money if needed but not have to use my bank account or credit card to do so.

PayPal Credit if for online purchase and only when all qualifications are met for a specific purchase.

When all qualiications are met for a purchase you will see PayPal Credit as a payment option.

You cannot know in advance.

If you want credit to use on demand, stick with a credit card.
