Shipment tracking numbers

Why is there no shipment tracking number attached to my paypal transaction any longer?

No idea, have you added it? If so then try adding it again.

I am not the seller, I am the buyer looking to see if my item has shipped from the seller. My recent purchases have had no way to track the item when seller ships. It used to be attached in your PayPal transaction logs but no longer it seems

Its only attached IF the seller sends the item trackable AND adds that tracking number to their paypal account if they did not use paypal postage.

if it is an Ebay seller and he uses Ebay to print shipping label,it will show up on Paypal,but if he doesn ot use Ebay or Paypal to print labels,then you dont see it unless he adds to it.
