Seperating PayPal Account from PayPal Credit account.

Going through a divorce, and my husband will be keeping and paying for the paypal credit account.  It is in his name anyways.  However, the PayPal account is in my name, and I'd like to keep that.  I tried to delete my Paypal account, thinking that would disconnect the two, free up my email, and allow me to open the PayPal account back up under my (now open) email address, however, it tells me I can't do it because there is a PayPal Credit account attached to it.  How can i unattach this?

You should call PayPal Credit customer service to unlink it from your account.
