Receive Invoice from seller

 How do I tell a seller to send me an invoice for goods not on ebay?

and then where would I see the invoice that they sent?

would it be under Summary, Activity or something else

The invoice will come as an email with a payment.

How to tell the seller?  Just ask the seller to send a detailed PayPal invoice.

The seller has said he has already sent an invoice.

I do not see any message in Paypal or my email.

So we are probably doing something a little wrong.

He would just log into Paypal and create an invoice and then send it to my email address.  Correct?

I can just go to your email address; it doesn't have to be your PayPal email address and you don't even have to have a PayPal account to receive an invoice.
