So, I've built up a pretty hefty balance with Credit. I claim responsibility, so I'd prefer not to hear anything about that. I'd like to know how to disable Credit, because for some reason, it's defaulting to that to pay, even though I select to pay from my linked bank account. I'm still going to pay the balance (obviously) but I'd like to know how to cancel the credit.
I believe she said she was attempting to pay through her bank account. I notice that I get the choice with each purchase and mine don't automatically default to credit so you situation seems odd. I would try to email them directly. After your balance is paid I am sure you can cancel paypal credit but they won't make it easy of course. I would go to the search box and search for "cancel paypal credit" and see what comes up.Good luck!
