PayPal Here with Nexus 5x

Has anybody tried the PayPal Here reader successfully with the lg Nexus 5x (I'm on Google project fi network)? I can't get the phone to recognize the device. Thanks

My Nexus 5X phone works with the blue triangular PayPal card reader that plugs into the headphone jack. I can't get it to pair with the chip card reader. Any suggestions?

Now it's pairing but when I go to PayPal Here app it disconnects. I'm on Google Fi network.

We finally got the Nexus 5X to connect to the chip card reader! We had to turn off all other Bluetooth devices in the room, forget all other Bluetooth devices on the Nexus 5X, then connect.
