I work festivals (3-day weekends). My sales will be between $2000-$4000 per festival (so far only 4 festivals a year, but growing).
I have an iPad mini (well, I will when it arrives in two days) that will be dedicated to checking people out with PayPal. I do NOT want to use my personal phone for transactions.
I would like:
1. Probably a bluetooth chip reader (to avoid 30-day holds on sales over $500). I understand a new version of PayPal's chip reader will be available after Nov 22nd (2017) and cost less.
2. Receipt printer and register (preferably bluetooth, but flexible).
3. To spend $500 or less to get set-up if at all possible.
My questions:
1. If my iPad mini is connected to the chip reader via bluetooth will that negate its ability to connect to a bluetooth printer?
2. I'm in interested in the bluetooth Woosim (wsp-r241) on Amazon because I like the price ($219), but I don't want to buy it unless I know it will work with the chip reader? The star printers seem more popular, but also more expensive. Are they better?
