PayPal Business Debit MasterCard

One day, I came across the Business Debit MasterCard & thought it would be nice to get 1% cash back on all my purchases! I activated it but, have NEVER been able to use it: online, in person, etc. Well, I gave up & do not have time to call! Then last week, I was sent a new one with a chip in it but, IT DOESN'T WORK EITHER! Your site says: When you set up a backup payment method, you can use your PayPal Business Debit MasterCard®; even with a $0 PayPal balance at no extra charge. I've linked my PNC checking account & yes, it does have funds available! It just doesn't work & it's very frustrating!

I thought a moderator would respond back with a reply??? I'm REALLY hoping they will!!! UPDATE: I've found that the new card I received DOES work but, ONLY if I have that amount in my PayPal balance! If I try to make a $20 purchase but only have $15 in my balance it will not work! And YES, I do have sufficient funds in my back up source which is my PNC checking! Also I am not receiving cash back when making online purchases on Amazon.com! Obviously, I'm not using a pin # since it's online so, it's a signature purchase that I'm not receiving cash back for like I should be!

AMZN recognises it is a debit card and would only allow you to use it as a debit card.

Yea, I know! I just really wish it would! I spend a ton on Amazon & could earn a lot of cash back! But, I also wish it would work correctly & pull from my backup funding source (bank account) when I have no PayPal balance! Guess we can't always get what we want though, huh? LOL 🙂

My guess is that Paypal is not able to access our b ank account if there is not enough in our PAYPAL account.

so make sure you have plenty in your Paypal account.

these days 1% cash rebate is not a great deal,other cards offer just as much or more.
