Negative balance

I have a negative balance due to a charge back. Do I need to fund my account immediately by linking my debit card. Or can I just transfer funds from my bank account which will take 3-5 days.??? Will paypal charge me an overdraft fee?  The chargeback is "on hold"

You need to fund it immediately.  Transferring from bank account is best.

DPCreations is correct, transferring money from your bank to cover your negative balance is generally the best way to fix this type of issue. And while this may be sorted out by now, to answer your other question - in the event someone else has the same question - PayPal charges no fees for having a negative balance. So that isn't something you would ever need to worry about!

That being said, if you have a negative balance for long enough it is possible that it could go to collections. So the quicker it's resolved, the better!  🙂
