Gift cards not working

When trying to pay with ebay gift cetificate I keep getting "we are having a problem. Please try again later." This has been going on since yesterday and with multiple gift cards. Anyone else having the same issue? any recourse? Thank you.

Where and how are you trying to make the purchase?

During ebay checkout. I enter the 13 digit card on either gift card and same message pops up. I am logged into paypal also.

I've never had an issue before and did a purchase before Christmas with no issue.

I had same problem. Finally after trying for 3 days and no luck. I called PayPal. Sent me to eBay . Walked through steps and bam I can finally pay. You need to click on your name, drop box click on account settings, look for personal information then go down to automatic payment scroll over and click remove. Once that is done it worked for me. Good luck
