Error on S8 when trying to add PayPal account to Android Pay..

Greetings, Paypal compatriots, When trying to link PayPal unto Android Pay, I yield ad nauseum the following error response: "Sorry, we can't add your PayPal account to Android Pay at this time." With no corresponding error association code detailing the nature of whatever conflict is of root the rejection. My PayPal account is in good standing. No disputes, fraud, etc. Positive balance, assigned to assorted debit & credit cards, and associated with applications of repute, such as Lyft and eBay. Android Pay, in likewise manner, operates in the absence of trouble; similar to PayPal, it's NFC based counterpart is linked to an assortment of debit & credit cards that are legitimate, in good standing and operational without any interference. My account history and status is sublime. I can and do use these services with both regularity and success; hence why I find the unnamed & arbitrary prohibition of the platform marriage flummoxing and frustrating. If anyone has faced a similar conflict, please, key me in, I beg you. Sweeping the algorithmic efficacy that is Google's search archive, I've found not a single case emulating mine; in the rotund communication era of civilization, an epoch barely old enough to purchase cigarettes, such a troubleshooting inquiry being exclusive.. y'all, it's a unicorn. Update to my previous reply! I Called customer service, and the sweetest lady ever helped me! All you need to do it is completely confirm the card linked to your account. It will take $1.94 from your account and put it back within 24 hours! I had to do it, I was so mad cause I couldn't link mine. 😂 Tags (0)

well, for me the problem has yet not been fixed.

Fred told me it might be the problem with AndroidPay Try to query with them.

I asked AndroidPay Support they responded with

I have checked with our specialist. To assist further on this, I request to contact PayPal representative and ask for all the proofs staying that there is no issue from PayPal's end example email from the supervisor confirming and clarifying that there are no issue on their end.

After this I again tried PayPal support.

The sweet answer was, account has been locked we should try after 48 hours.

Called PayPal support after 48 Hrs, Finally after 3 hops i landed in correct department ("Android Pay" PayPal setup Support)

David told me to get a PayPal cash debit card which is free and arrives with in 7 business days. 

I am hoping that it will work after i get my PayPal debit card.

My Last divine question now is

"Can't we setup AndroidPay with PayPal without PayPal debit card, I already have my bank's debit card and is linked to Paypal and the status is confirmed.

I had the same bank card attached to each account. I deleted my card in PayPal, kept it in Android Pay and was successfully able to link the accounts after. I have an LG Stylo 3+
