I wasn't able to pay for several months because I quit my job to take care of my dying grandfather who lived me and my family. I got an email two months ago saying instead of racking up more debt from the interest, I could choose the settlement plan. They basically cut about $300 off of how much I owe, and I have to make 3 payments, one each month for 3 months. I know already that I won't have a PayPal Credit account anymore, but is there a catch? It seems to good to be true. Will my credit score be affected poorly?
