Paypal Credit - Returns

I ordered a product online and had to return it.  I paid using Paypal Credit.  How long it takes once the merchant returns the money for the balance to be updated and usable again?

If the credit is applied directly to your PayPal Credit account, you will typically see these applied and available for use again within three to five business days.

I noticed you used the word "if". Do you mean to say that we have to do something else in addition to the merchandise being returned and order cancelled?

Hi, I was to recieve a payment of 5.94 from paypal for a payment return on ebay. I have been checking my bank stament ,it shows that there was a transfer from my bank account to paypal but not from paypal. Thank you houmagirl48
