7 11 clerk now says I can only reload 20$ or 500$ and nothing in between ,I now only have these two amounts as an option and not a range in-between. There's a language barrier with the staff at this store. Is this a new rule or what?

After Katrina,we are all scared when a hurricane is coming our way ,so we all jumped into our car and start driving,in all directions.
When there is a need to refresh,ask question or pick up some stuff,we keep running into operators in gas station,convenience store, who know nothing about hurricane,road direction,news .
