Can't login on www.paypal-prepaid.com. Error message.

Hello,

I would like to use the debitcard Paypal offers on paypal-prepaid.com

However, when I try to login on PayPal-Prepaid.com, I'll get this error:

You have encountered the following error(s):

• We are unable to log you in at this time. If you are a new user please register online.

How can this be fixed?

THats messed up because he sure as day told me 8 pm like it was a known fact around there, of course I tried a lil bit ago and it didn't,t work , all I can do is send money from my PayPal account to my husbands paypal account and he will give me the cash for now but he really hates being my bank every day so it will get old fast asking for 10 bucks every few hours I make a sale. They need to seriously get there story straight , at least you guys can transfer some money to your bank accounts but of course that takes forever especially on the weekends that is what I loved about this card and now that my bank account just went in the neg for some stupid overdraft fee last week it would be pointless for me to transfer any money over unless I had a big lump sum, so aggravated by this , I told the guy too I am totally broke until this gets fixed, he apologized but wha good is that, they should have done a little work at a time in the middle of the night or something !

Nobody has been able to log in all day. We are all getting the same error message. Called the prepaid debit card office and he said it would be back up by 5 pacific time. Not happening. I was told it's a third party that actually runs the accounts and card.

FYI: I contacted Paypal Prepaid via email earlier today about the error on login, and here is the response I received:

Unfortunately, our paypal-prepaid.com website is currently unavailable. We know this is an inconvenience and our IT department is working to resolve the issue.

I had to add that I've only had my card one week. Just read somewhere that as of May 21st you can no longer get cash from the ATM's with the prepaid debit card. Did anyone else read this. Unbelievable. Makes me think the system will be down til the 21st?  I think if the card doesn't work, then we should get a $4.95 credit for that month.

I think I remember seeing something about the not being able to take cash out of the ATM, but I thought it was in other countries outside of the US. Can't remember where I read it, though, so I could double check!

I, too, read that somewhere. I can't remember where as well.

I thought this happened randomly but I guess the entire system has been down from what I see (all the comments posted today and yesterday). I also had a random $1 deduction on Wednesday from an odd source I didn't recognize. I was about to report the suspecious activity but it disappeared minutes after. Not being able to login for the past day led me to believe my account had been hacked.

Another question, why is paypal.com working while the paypal prepaid isnt?

@ jagruven sorry I forgot your name but imagine if the actual PayPal was down then no one could buy things on eBay or print shipping labels for that matter , god forbid they do something to negatively effect THEM where they lose that kind of money, they would have that **bleep** fixed so fast our heads would spin, imagine how much money they make every second just on their little fees , I couldn't believe I read on my seller invoice that I paid like $90 in PayPal fees alone last month ontop of $200 to eBay for the month in fees. It blows my mind . I wish so bad that eBay could take the fees out before they ever even give me the money into my PayPal, it's not easy comin up with that amount every month and I am no good at saving, lol

I am sooo glad I found this forum as I was about to freak out.  It did say in the email it is for other countries, it shouldn't effect us.  I almost wonder if that is why the site is down, maybe something happened in those locations??

Yea that was only for Jamaica, dominican republic and somewhere else not in the u.s , trust me I read up on that I was **bleep** when I first saw it until I started reading

Has anyone ever noticed the glitch in the system where after you transfer money to your card it will say a huge amount for a split second is on your card? Once I transferred like 20 bucks and my card balance said like 697.87 or something like that until I refreshed it , actually it happens a lot just that one time it was a huge amount though, the worst thing about this is I had such a slow week and didn't sell anything for 3 days straight which never happens and when I finally made a sale I coldn't get into my account so I have been dead broke for a week now and it infuriates me to know hat I have like $75 just sitting there of mine and who knows when I can touch it, oh and BTW tried this morning after that PP rep told me I could log in at 8pm central last night and of course another lie told by them, I knew I should have gotten his name I totally forgot. They're just saying whatever they want to passify us for the moment. Too bad we can't transfer funds to like a western union account and access funds that way.
