The refund goes back to the original funding source so you use it as you would any money in that funding account.

i made a purchase using my credit card and was refunded back to my paypal account. how to i send this refund back to my credit card.
paypal did not apply it to purchase i just made.

Welcome to the Community! DPCreations is correct; if the purchase was made using a credit or debit card, any refund issued would be automatically sent back to the card used. I know the email notification for a refund is a little confusing, and I sincerely apologize for that. Most banks process these refunds back to your credit/debit account within 2 to 3 business days, but some may take up to 30 to apply the refund to the next billing cycle. If it has been more than 30 days, we can request a trace be done for you. Also, your card issuer may be able to run a trace before that time.
