no funds in bank account

I received e mails that says I have insuficient funds. I have a backup credit card. It supose to charge to the credit card automatically or not?

If you choose to pay by bank transfer,then Paypal will try to debit your bank account,if insufficient fund,then it could try again in 2 days,it is not going to do a U turn and come back and charge your credit card,

In the mean time,your bank could charge you NSF not once but twice,if  second attempt fails.
