making a partial payment to an invoice received

how do i make a partial payment for an invoice received.   invoice is $2200 .... i need to pay $1500 from one bank and $700 from another bank.

You have to ensure the seller enabled the partial payment option on the invoice. If you do not see a way to make partial payment currently, ask the seller to enable it. There is a check box to enable partial payments in the edit invoice mode.
