Credit card statement says something like this:
MM/YY PAYPAL *[partial company name] <removed> CA $[amt]
But if you look at your paypal account, there's no evidence of this transaction. (Hey PayPal, how about adding this in and saving us all a lot of grief?!)
That's because it's actually an EBAY purchase (Hey Ebay, how about adding this in and saving us all a lot of grief?!).
If you sign on to Ebay and look at your purchases, you'll find the exact amounts and the descriptions.

Yep that is probably because the Ebay seller processed your card payment using their PAYPAL card reader.
