I'm trying to send my son his allowance--this has worked hundreds of times, until 2 days ago. The error message is:
"This recipient accepts PayPal payments only through their website. To complete this payment, please go to their website and follow their instructions, or email the recipient for instructions."
First, he doesn't have a website. Second, I called tech support and they had only two, unhelpful suggestions, which were to delete web browsing history and to try a different web browser. I had already tried 2 different computers using 2 different browsers, so I knew it wasn't that. Of course, clearing browsing history didn't clear it up either. I also emptied out my son's gmail account (the recipient) in case clutter WAS the problem. No good.

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
