FAQ links do not answer my question.
I have a simple query. Would my client be able to pay more than amount I invoice for?
e.g I invoice fo $70. Can he pay me $120 or $200 without another invoice?
Actually client himself will fix cost of the job done for some of the items in the invoice?
Can I send zero amount invoice.?

Can i create invoice having hours multiplied by rate ?

Thanks

No, such feature.  However, the client can send you any amount by using Send money feature on the Send & Request or Money (Business accounts) page.  You may be able to create a receipt for what you were paid for, the amount and record a payment on it and send the client a copy.

"Create a receipt for your customer:

Occasionally you may receive payment from your customer before you create an invoice. To be able to give your customer a detailed receipt, create the invoice and save it as a draft. Then choose the 'Record payment' action on the invoice management page.

You can print and deliver the paid invoice or choose “share link” from the Manage Invoices page to copy an invoice link and mail your customer the receipt."

And yes, there is hour/rate option.  Select "Hour" in the first drop down menu on the "Customize" bar on this page:

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
