Will PayPal Debit automatically withdraw from my bank?

Simply as the title states, I am wondering if anyone knows whether or not the PayPal Debit card will automatically withdraw money from my bank account linked to my profile if my balance on PayPal is sitting at $0.00 

My reason for doing this is that my personal checking account is a Netspend Prepaid card that is unable to utilize Samsung Pay, while PayPal is capable of doing just that. 

Hope this isn't too confusing of a question.

Yes, if you have a bank account or debit/credit cards added to your account as backup funding sources, then using your PayPal debit card with a $0.00 PayPal balance will fall to those backup funding sources for payment.
