Why am I not able to use my bank account as a preferred payment option anymore?

Months ago I used my bank account(savings) to purchase everything online , whether it was Groupon, Walmart, target literally whatever if they accepted PayPal and for the last 2 months I’ve removed my bank account and re added it thinking it would help but when trying to use PayPal my only options to pay is my credit card or PayPal balance? Mind you my bank account is my preferred option payment but it doesn’t give me a option anymore. I’m so aggravated by this! Can someone please help me

had there been any problem in the past accessing your bank account?

if so,then Paypal does not want to deal with it anymore.

other than that,I dont know why,may be adding,removing and adding is not a good idea
