Trying to add a South African bank to my PayPal account

I am in SA, using an SA paypal account I think? How do you choose different paypal accounts anyway?

Well you are posting on the U.S forum so i needed to check.

Paypal is country specific so when you open a paypal account you select your country from the drop down list.

Thats why i needed to check as countries differ on what they are allowed to add to their paypal account etc.

You are allowed to add a SA bank account to a SA paypal account so what it the problem you are getting?

Double check you have not opened a US one by mistake.

If you click on the settings cog (next to log out) then it says your nationality on the middle / left side of that page.
