Transferring funds from my email

I have recieved funds for PayPal through my email because I do not have a PayPal account registered under that email address. Do I need to create a new PayPal account to recieve these funds or is there a way to put these funds in my already existing account?

Add the email address to your current PayPal account.  You can have multiple email addresses linked.
