Send gift using linked credit card

I'm looking to send a large monetary gift to a colleague in another state, but selfishly want to use my linked credit card to get some rewards.  Since this is a gift, I believe there are no fees, but are there fees for using the credit card?  Are there ways to avoid/limit these fees?

review fee schedule on Paypal site,there will be fee since you use your credit card,Paypal has to pay fee so it will be passed on to you.
