I cancelled an order the same day I placed the order. The business said they sent the refund the same day which was January 3,2018. It shows in my PayPal acct the purchase payment is pending. How do I get the refund?
If it still says pending then it sounds like the refund wasn't completed. I would contact the seller account and show them a screenshot of your transaction details to show that the payment is pending and ask them to please check again.
