A company incorrectly charged my Paypal account for a service that was cancelled 3 months ago. It was a recurring game server subscription, that I properly cancelled, but the company didn't stop it on their end. That company has already corrected their mistake and issued a refund. Only problem is the original improper charge from the transaction went on to my credit card, but Paypal is issuing the refund to my Paypal balance.
I had NO Paypal balance of any kind before the charge, that's why it was charged to the card I have on file. But despite this Paypal refuses to issue the refund back to my credit card. I did contact support already and all they said is they'll "look into it" but that it will take them 30 days to conduct that review. Even then they still may refuse to put the money back onto my card.
