Question about insufficient funds when paying with gift card

Hi,
A buyer notified me after her goods were shipped that the gift card she used to pay her invoice had insufficient funds. This was late January. How long will it take PayPal to reverse the credit? I see nothing yet. I will need to request money from her again for payment, which she agreed to, but I feel it only right to wait for PayPal to deduct it from my account before doing so.
Thanks,
Bonnie

did PAYPAL send you a payment notice and said it is okay to ship?

Yes, pay-pal supplied the shipping link which is what I use to generate the label. She reached out to me after it was en route and said "I'm so sorry to tell you this, but I think that the gift card I used to pay your invoice was already used up and had no money on it". I have not heard anything from PayPal directly and I do not see the amount deducted from my balance, which is why I asked how long it would take. Thank you.
