A friend (within the US) requested money from me through Friends and Family. When I got the request, I selected my bank account as the payment option, and it explicitly stated that there would be no fees charged. I sent the money, and my receipt stated that I had paid $95 and my friend would receive $95. However, when she received the payment, it was for $91.94, and there was a $3.06 fee taken!
I contacted Paypal through the Resoultion Center and explained the situation, and got a response today saying “After having reviewed all the details, and based on the information we have to date, we have to deny your case. This decision was made because our records show that this transaction was processed correctly.” No additional information or explanation was given.
When I try to contact support, none of the options are relevant. Any suggestions for what I should do?
