I had sent a payment through paypal on a closed banl account on accident. The payment went thru and my friend said he rexieved it. However the old bank told me the account is already closed and paypal said it wouldnt go through. Yet he says he has the payment?

When you pay a seller or a friend it is never instantly transfered from your funding source.

Paypal CREDIT them for you and then paypal take the wait for your funds to transfer from your bank account.

If that fails then they will put your paypal account into the red and limit it until you pay them back again.

OR if you have a linked back up card they may use that.
