Payment pending

My friend sent me $300 and now it's pending in my account but it says it's received am I able to just withdraw these funds and overdraft? The whole point of him sending me that was to have funds asap.

If you ever want funds ASAP, then don't use PayPal.  You should use a different such as bank to bank wire service or Western Union.

You can't use fund until they are available.  Pending funds are not available.

If you plan to eventually transfer funds to your bank, the figure on another week.
