I am trying to convince a local club that I belong to to accept online PayPal payments when people sign up for classes online. We currently accept credit card payment the first night of class which slows things down.
Is anyone aware of a report that compared costs of PayPal vs Credit Card payment? I have to make a report at our next Board meeting.
It's easy to compare the fees - PayPal charges 2.9% plus $.30 per transaction if you setup an online method payment like a web page, etc, if you use PayPal Here and accept the payments in person, it's 2.7% per US card swipe. What are you currently paying to accept cards ??? That should make your decision easier.
