I'm setting up a very basic website for my upcoming wedding. Instead of a traditional registry, we are offering people the chance to send us money for our honeymoon. Are there major security risks in putting the paypal username on the website so that our friends and family can paypal us directly? I'm just trying to give people the ability to send us money electronically without having to use a site that will take 2.8%. If this is an unnecessary risk I'll just use one of the other sites, I just don't know if there's any risk with people knowing your paypal username.
Risks would include people being able to steal money from us or the people who try to send money to us.
