PAYPAL balance

I have a payment received from a vendor that is showing in my activity but not in my balance. Has anyone else had this issue occur and if so, how was it resolved? I did contact the vendor to verify the transaction as per PAYPAL's recommendation. It was completed at the vendor's end.

If the status says something like "pending", most likely the funds are being held for review.   PayPal does this for various reasons, for example, your account may be new, unverified, has an open dispute or claim, or some other reason or even something to do with the senders account.  What we do know is that holds can range from a day or two or up to 21 days.
